The name reads like the stretchiest thing on the shelf. The specification says otherwise — not because it is a bad fabric, but because "spandex" describes a fibre and "two-way" describes the direction it moves. A fabric can contain spandex and still only stretch across the width.

Why it matters, practically: two-way stretch gives when you widen and resists when you lengthen. Squatting to a low bed, kneeling at a bedside and reaching over a rail all ask for length. None of that makes Spandex Stretch the wrong choice. If your work is less about squatting and more about standing, walking and reaching at chest height, two-way is perfectly adequate and the fabric has other things going for it. Just buy it knowing what it is rather than what the name implies.
